NEIGHBORHOOD SOCIAL SERVICE AND DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION
$6 million for a development company
for acquisition, building, and construction of commercial and residential properties in the Go-Zone in April, 2007.

PUBLIC HOUSING PROJECT – INNER CITY
HUD awards nearly $7 million to Public Housing Client

- $2 million grant and a $4.1 million loan guarantee to provide four underserved target neighborhoods. Funds will be used to construct 7,500 square feet for development of new schools, a family resource center, parking garage and a nonprofit neighborhood social service agency. The $6.2 million in loan guarantees will leverage an additional $2 million in public and private sector support. The project will create an estimated 187 jobs in February, 2007.
