Kimberly Fontenot: President Stellar Grants
The company was formed in 2002 by its Founder Kimberly Fontenot specifically to provide grant writing services for non-profit and for-profit organizations, corporations, and associations. Kimberly also has over 22 years serving as a grant writer, liaison and brokering angel investments and donations from Stellar Grant’s elite and select group of national and international angel business leaders.
Kimberly also provides 22+ years grant and RFP writing specialist experience in funding services to our clients. Kimberly is an Approved Government OHA/HRSA Grant Reviewer and on June 11, 2007 was approved to be listed in Madison Who's Who Among Executives and Professionals, for inclusion into the 2007-2008 "Honors Edition" of the registry.
Paul Johnson: FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL OF STELLAR BUSINESS GROUP
Paul joined forces with Kim in 2005 as a Managing Partner. His background includes Board and Chief Executive positions within marketing and advertising agencies, International Director and General Manager of a well-recognized media group representing their artists through numerous licensees across the globe. He has also served as Chairman and Director for non-profits and numerous fund-raising events he created or organized for them.
He brings forty years experience to our clients in both the USA and International markets based from the UK, and since 1995 from New York. He is accustomed to working strategically with clients developing their business strategy, presentations and financials for the acquisition of funding. Clients have ranged from Fortune 500 clients to start-ups who are seeking the benefits of major account corporate experience to add to their business strategy and propositions.
His career includes senior management and Board positions at:
- Island Records: General Manager, and latterly International Director-with licensees reporting in many territories worldwide
- Chief Executive, Board Account Management functions within various Advertising and Marketing agencies. He received a prestigious ‘Ace’ award for advertising and print excellence for a client campaign.

Our first need is always to learn about your organization, and the specifics relating to your needs.Having gained insights into your requirements, we are at a starting point in the evaluation of the most suitable potential for you. We take the background knowledge you have provided, and conduct extensive and detailed research into specific types of opportunities that match your criteria and organizational needs.
Through discussions, we will hone-in to the most applicable opportunities that suit your needs and timelines. Once we have jointly agreed the specific grant and/or loan that you wish to apply for, we will begin the preparation of the documentation as per the instructions within the application procedure. It should be noted that the application requirements will very often necessitate the provision of a number of supplemental documents, additional to the project narrative, as defined in the FOA [Funding Opportunity Announcement].
Stellar Grants will notify you on the extent of the requisite documentation-and work with you in their preparation. Once all the documentation has been approved by our client, we will submit the application to the relevant agency.
But our work doesn’t stop there. We will continue liaising with that agency through a tracking and monitoring process, whilst the application is under both Technical and Merit review.
